Pharrell Williams & Mark McNairy Talk BBC Bee Line
The August issue of GQ features a conversation with perpetually in-demand designer Mark McNairy and multi-hyphenate extraordinaire Pharrell Williams, who’ve joined forces on the season’s “buzziest new label,” Bee Line for Billionaire Boys Club. The guys preview pieces from the collection and discuss their collaboration. McNairy on the origin of the partnership: “I always liked what Pharrell did with Billionaire Boys Club — it’s like preppy streetwear. We started by collaborating on one shoe. We talked about doing clothes, and eventually it evolved into a full made-in-the-U.S.A. collection.” Pharrell on McNasty: “He’s very quirky and a quiet guy, but also funny as hell. Within all that quirkiness, he’s very confident. The man just clicks.” Check out the full interview from the print issue, reprinted here.

The Hundreds 2012: Fall Lookbook
Los Angeles-based streetwear staple The Hundreds presents its lookbook for Fall 2012. Emphasizing an apocalyptic aesthetic throughout the entire line, the new pieces are highlighted by washed-out color palettes, soft edges and distressed detailing. A departure from the bright and bold look of this summer’s releases, the fall collection includes the use of various camouflages and Native American prints alongside military inspiration, dip-dyes and new looks for the brand’s Mesa line. The Fall 2012 collection from The Hundreds is slated for a release on Thursday, August 2.
