TINKER HATFIELD’S FIRST SNEAKER DESIGN

Before Tinker Hatfield (Nike’s VP of Design and Special Projects) was designing shoes for Michael Jordan and Bo Jackson, he was making kicks for his daughter. Seen here is the first sneaker built by Tinker, dating back to 1980. The toddler shoe features an olive upper, big Swoosh, and a buffed up toe box built for the crawl to walk transition.
