Nike has finally branched out with the elephant print and put the pattern on a pair of nike Vandals. They have black leather front and lace panels, mesh for the toe box and middle, and the black elephant pattern on thre back heel. Along with the black uppers is a hint of mint on the heel tab, strap, and outlining the swoosh. The sole has all three colors, with a white mid-sole, black stitching, and mint out-sole.

PUMA Urban Mobility Sneakers by Hussein Chalayan
Following up on the announcement by PUMA for its Urban Mobility 2010 Spring/Summer Collection back in August, we get a peek into two designs from the upcoming line, designed by PUMA Creative Director and celebrated fashion designer Hussein Chalayan. Two high top designs are previewed, each focusing on the innovative technical spirit associated with PUMA’s Urban Mobility program. A release can be expected next season in 2010.

Nike Art
Nike Sportswear asked eight artists and designers to use their creative minds to make a piece of artwork to display at the 1912 Space. One of which, Olle Hemmendorff, created a Nike Air Max 90 Hamburger. “The upper consists of sesame seed bun, with a cheese covering outlining the swoosh. The laces are also cheesed out with tomatoes as the lace panels. The midsole is where the meat is at, with a tomato as the Air Max logo. Ketchup outlines the Air Max unit in the midsole, and the bottom of the bun serves as the outsole.” This is a very cool art piece inspired by a pair of Nike sneakers, but the only down side is that it doesn’t last very long.

Nike SB Dunk High RESN “Gucci”
We have shown you this Nike SB Dunk High RESN “Gucci” on a number of occasions (it was a part of our 24 Sneakers We’re Looking Forward to for the Rest of ‘09), and many of you have shared with us your impatient anticipation of this release. Well, you won’t have to wait too munch longer. The Nike SB Dunk High RESN “Gucci” will be available at select retailers on November 1st, 2009.
Obviously, judging by its name, this SB Dunk Hi features the Gucci-inspired colorway on the base and is complimented by a white midsole and a red outsole. If you recall, this Dunk is very similar to the DJ Clark Kent-designed Dunk that released at the end of last month; however the previously mentioned sole area is where the biggest different is visible. In addition, the letters RESN appear on the tongue in gold. As stated earlier, this Dunk will release on November 1st at select retailers overseas.

The NBA season started this week and in celebration adidas Originals is dropping the latest pack in its popular series of NBA products. The Centennial Low – Western Conference Pack features 5 colorways of the classic Centennial silhouette in a low cut. The shoes take inspiration from 5 teams in the Western Conference – The Houston Rockets, Dallas Mavericks, San Antonio Spurs, Denver Nuggets, and Los Angeles Lakers. Each features the classic team colors on a suede upper with large vintage tongue logos and come with 2 pairs of laces. The pack is available now at adidas Originals stores in the US.
